Token supply is one piece of understanding XLM, but it should be considered alongside network usage, liquidity, demand, and distribution.
Circulating supply
The amount of XLM currently circulating in the market can differ from the broader total supply. Current figures should always be checked from a live market-data source.
Why supply matters
Supply affects how market capitalization and token price relate to one another. But a large or small supply by itself does not tell you whether an asset is overvalued or undervalued.
What else matters
Demand, actual network activity, liquidity, token distribution, market conditions, and investor expectations can all matter alongside supply.
